Set in sunny Arizona, our Phoenix recovery center offers a welcoming, comfortable environment where you’ll receive the clinical expertise and support needed to free yourself from drug and alcohol abuse. Here, you’re not just another client following a generic schedule. We tailor our addiction treatment program to your needs, life experiences, and preferences. Our treatment team includes credentialed clinicians that are passionate about helping you recover from alcohol and drug addiction. You’ll form powerful connections with other clients in treatment who’ve shared similar struggles while you uncover the reasons behind your drug or alcohol use and learn healthier coping skills. We believe long-term addiction recovery requires an integrative approach to substance abuse treatment. This means that we simultaneously address co-occurring mental health disorders, trauma, and other difficulties that underlie substance use disorders with a blend of traditional and alternative therapies. Our treatment program is accepting and inclusive. Therapists are trained in treating LGBTQIA clients, and we offer specialized treatment for veterans and first responders.

Our Phoenix Treatment Program

Vogue Recovery Center in Phoenix, AZ includes several levels of care to fit your needs and is conveniently located near Mesa, Glendale & Scottsdale. We treat drug and alcohol use disorders with evidence-based approaches and provide comprehensive aftercare planning and addiction resources, so you’re prepared for long-term recovery.

Rehab programs at our Arizona treatment center include:

detox

Medically Supervised Alcohol and Drug Detox

We offer short- and long-term medical detox programs. You’ll be safe and as comfortable as possible during drug or alcohol detox with medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and 24/7 staff to attend to discomfort and monitor your vital signs. Our rehab center in Arizona can also detox complex cases, such as pregnant women and clients on methadone (up to 200 mg).

Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment

Our residential rehab program in Arizona gives you space and distance from triggers so you can focus on getting better. Many clients do best in early recovery with this high level of structure. You’ll live in home-like residences with peers and attend addiction treatment during the day. On evenings and weekends, inpatient rehab includes recovery activities, recreation, and outings.

Partial Hospitalization Program

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Clients in our partial hospitalization program (PHP) attend day programs at the treatment center but live at home or in sober-living residences. You’ll take part in similar programming as our residential rehab. PHP can be a good step-down option from residential treatment or the best choice for people who need to be at home in the evenings for family or other commitments.

Intensive Outpatient Program

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our IOP meets from 9am to 12pm every weekday. It’s less hours than our PHP, which gives you the opportunity to ease back into some work, school, or family obligations while keeping a strong foothold in a supportive addiction treatment program.

Outpatient Program

Outpatient Program

As you transition into full independence, outpatient treatment provides a safe space to address triggers and challenges to your sobriety. You’ll live at home and attend outpatient treatment anytime between 9am and 12pm for one to three hours a week.

Veterans

Veterans Program – Valor

Veterans Program – Valor have unique needs in treatment for substance use disorders and underlying trauma. Our Valor Program for veterans and first responders provides trauma-focused treatment for addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, and PTSD. You’ll feel safe and supported while sharing with other clients who know what you’re going through.

Aftercare

Sober-Living Residences

Our sober-living residences in Arizona offer a safe, comfortable living environment with sober peers. Some residents live there while attending treatment at our Phoenix rehab programs. However, anyone can live there if they’re attending a recovery program. Some people find a sober-living residence is more supportive of recovery than their previous living situation. Daily transportation is provided to our Phoenix treatment center, which is about 20 minutes away.

Aftercare

It’s important to have support in place when you leave treatment to help you maintain sobriety. We provide thorough aftercare planning, so that you’re connected with therapists, psychiatrists, medical professionals, support groups, and other resources before you leave treatment.

A sober network of peers is critical to long-term sobriety. The moment you walk through our doors, you become part of the extended Vogue family, which includes alumni from all over the country. Our alumni program offers regular meetings, events, and ways to connect virtually with others in recovery.

Vaun Williams

Vaun Williams, Psy.D., LPC

Executive Director - Arizona

Vaun Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2005 from Arizona State University. She completed her master’s degree in 2011 from the University of Phoenix and is licensed as a professional counselor. Vaun earned a doctoral degree from Capella University in 2017. She has worked in the behavioral health field for approximately 25 years. Vaun has worked with children, the homeless population, the domestic violence population, addiction population, and in private practice. She specializes in trauma therapy and is certified in EMDR treatment and working on becoming an approved consultant with EMDRIA. Vaun has taught various courses in psychology and counseling with Grand Canyon University as an adjunct faculty since 2016. In addition to working with various populations, she has also held positions in management for the past 20 years. Vaun has supervised all walks of life and those who are seeking independent licensure. Lastly, she has worked with various diagnoses ranging from anxiety, depression, addiction, mood-related disorders, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders. Vaun is the proud mother of two beautiful children and loves spending quality time with them.

Kelsey Jones, MS, LPC

Clinical Director - Arizona

Kelsey is our Clinical Director with Vogue Recovery Center – Arizona. Kelsey was born and raised in Kansas, and moved to Arizona in 2004 for college. She has been in the behavioral health field since 2007. She has a Master’s degree in both Infant Family Practice, and Counseling and Guidance. She is also a licensed counselor. She has spent a large portion of her career working with the Seriously Mentally Ill Co-Occurring population. She has overseen a residential treatment program for this population and also worked in the outpatient setting as well. For the past several years, Kelsey has worked behind the scenes by providing clinical training to all direct care staff and taught various training on cultural competency, mental health diagnosis, compassion fatigue, just to name a few. She has a passion for working with people and helping them understand what they are experiencing. She is also a huge Kansas City Chiefs Fan.

Anthony Strocks, RN, MBA

Director of Nursing - Arizona

Anthony, a United States Army Veteran, has almost 30 years’ experience working in the behavioral health field, in many capacities, outside of nursing, including as a probation officer, case manager, counselor, and social worker, and has always found such work quite rewarding. After failed attempts at being a stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter for Hollywood, Anthony taught Community College English, Business, and Humanities courses while completing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Finally discovering psychiatric nursing, a career which he truly loves and values, Anthony has decided to advance his professional status, having just earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and moving on to pursue his Nurse Practitioner license in January of 2021. Anthony is excited to once again join the Vogue Recovery family, as they all work together as a team to help change lives and futures.
Linda Harris

Linda Harris, RN

Assistant Director Of Nursing - Arizona

Linda is our Assistant Director of Nursing with Vogue Recovery Center. Linda has been a Registered Nurse since 1975. She is originally from California and has worked in various areas over her time as an RN. She has experience in pediatrics, ICU, ER, trauma, and Labor/Delivery. She has been working in the addictions field since 2011 and truly has found her passion. She enjoys building connections with her patients and encouraging those struggling with an addiction to overcome and commit to sobriety. She started working with Vogue Recovery Center in 2018 and in 2020, Linda became the Assistant Director of Nursing with Vogue Recovery Center, Arizona.
Dr. Cooper Johnston, MD, Addictionologist

Dr. Cooper Johnston, MD, Addictionologist

Medical Director - Arizona

Dr. Johnston received his Doctoral degree from Midwestern University and has been an Addicionologist for the past six years. Dr. Johnston wanted to be an Addictionoligist because he wanted to help individuals become sober. He is married and has four children and enjoys spending time with his family. During his free time, he enjoys reading, when he is not caring for his children.

Emma Lucky

Operations Director - Arizona

Emma Lucky is our Operations Director with Vogue Recovery Center. Emma has been working in the addiction/behavioral health field for over 10 years as a BHT and Supervisor. Prior to the behavioral health field, Emma was the Director of several preschools in Arizona for over 20 years. She has a wealth of experience in management and facility oversight. She became involved in the Behavioral health field because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of those that have been affected by addiction. Emma has always believed that there is a child in all of us, and working from that, can make all the difference.

Nick Bogenrief

Office Manager/Compliance Coordinator - Arizona

Nick is the Executive Assistant with Vogue Recovery Center. Nick has been in the behavioral health field for 15 years. After college he started working as a probation officer. He has two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Justice Administration and one is Sociology. He has worked with various populations such as addiction, sex offenders, delinquent youth, acute psych adult and adolescent, acute psychiatric addmissions/triage. Prior to his behavioral health work, he played college football for Southwest Minnesota State. Nick loves to work in this field because he comes from a long familial history of addiction. Nick has such a fun and authentic personality, in which he connects so well with others.
