Dr. Leslie Howell, DO

Dr. Leslie Howell is one of the talented psychiatrists at our rehab center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Howell moved to Arizona to earn her pre-med Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. She returned home to earn her medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Howell then went on to complete a residency program in General Psychiatry at The Ohio State University Medical Center, during which time she was elected to the position of Co-Chief Resident in her final year of residency. After completing her training in 2005, she moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she currently resides with her husband.
Dr. Howell has served in many different clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric facilities, community mental health clinics, private practice and addiction rehabilitation centers. She has experience in treating a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Her areas of special interest include schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety and dual diagnosis disorders. She is a licensed Suboxone provider and can provide medication-assisted treatment if needed.
