What Is a Las Vegas Rehabilitation Center?
Rehabilitation is the process of healing from your substance abuse and/or mental health issues in a safe medical facility. Our centers are staffed with a knowledgeable team of doctors, therapists, psychiatrists, counselors, and case managers. Rehab can take different approaches when it comes to healing. At our recovery center in Las Vegas, called Vogue Recovery, rehabilitation is holistic-focused and person-centric. Let’s unpack this. A holistic approach to recovery is one that addresses the wellness of the mind, body, and spirit instead of only focusing on one area. As such, we combine traditional and alternative therapies for whole-body healing. The fact that we’re person-centric means we tailor our programming to each individual. Although we follow the same basic structure in drug and alcohol rehab, your care plan will be customized to you.

Nevada Addiction Statistics
Addiction is a prevalent problem in Nevada, both in Las Vegas and the other lesser-known cities in the state. This is true when it comes to any form of substance abuse, including drug and alcohol addictions. Of course, Las Vegas promotes a hedonistic lifestyle that includes unhealthy habits around drugs and alcohol. But around Nevada, mental health and substance abuse statistics show a widespread issue. Locals struggle with abusing all types of drugs in Nevada. However, opioids represented 75 percent of overdose deaths in 2021. That same year, total drug overdose deaths were 29.2 out of 100,000. Over the last decade, the overdose rate has increased in Nevada.
And when it comes to mental health conditions, the numbers also continue to rise. Undeniably, there is a connection between mental illness and substance abuse, and SUD often worsens mental conditions. In 2023, 38.4 percent of Nevadans faced symptoms of anxiety and/or depressive disorders, which is higher than the national average. These numbers show a strong need for drug rehab in Las Vegas.
What Happens at a Rehabilitation Center in Las Vegas?
When considering whether rehab is right for you, it’s helpful to understand what the program looks like. As mentioned, your care plan will be tailored to your needs, experiences, and goals. However, our rehab for drugs and alcohol follows the same basic pattern to provide proven recovery results. That said, treatment begins with an initial consultation and diagnosis that takes into account your condition, including any co-occurring disorders. After the admission process is complete, you can work through the different levels of care. Here are a few guarantees you can expect from our Vegas rehab center.
Admissions Process
All individuals settle into the process by beginning with admissions. This stage is meant to ease your mind as you receive information about what your rehab will look like. Our intake team will answer your questions and help you gain a clearer picture of treatment. As you start to understand what rehab will look like, you can mentally prepare for the process. Your exact timeline will depend on any factors you outline, like your responsibilities at home. It’s also important to note you can modify your treatment plan as you progress, like if you need more time in a level.
Initial Consultation and Diagnosis
Your initial consultation with one of our substance abuse therapists will happen during the admissions process. This is the first meeting I’m having to really get to know you. The initial consultation takes the format of a conversation. Notably, you can expect to discuss your history of substance abuse, mental health, background, and specific concerns and goals. Additionally, you will want to mention any life factors that will affect your recovery timeline. If necessary, you will receive an official diagnosis from a licensed clinical counselor. Diagnoses can help you better understand the condition you’re struggling with and open doors for you to receive more support. For example, with a diagnosis of a substance use disorder (SUD), you can be prescribed medication to help you overcome your illness.
Dual Diagnosis Approach to Healing
Speaking of diagnoses, it is also possible for you to receive more than one. This would be the case if you struggle with co-occurring disorders. Sometimes, these look like multiple substance use disorders, such as alcohol use disorder (AUD) and cocaine use disorder (CUD). Other times, dual diagnoses show up as an SUD and a mental disorder like major depressive disorder (MDD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This is one example of how treatment is tailored to the individual. Depending on your unique challenges, your treatment plan will outline a custom plan of attack.
Professional Addiction Treatment Staff
Our professional team is comprised of trained and licensed experts in the fields of substance abuse recovery and mental health. At Vogue Recovery, you can receive a diagnosis of a mental or substance use disorder and prescriptions for medication. And without a doubt, you will receive a comprehensive program plan that incorporates healing for your mind, body, and spirit. Since our mission is to provide the best care for everyone, we employ staff who bring value to our center. As a result, you can know you are receiving quality care from empathetic rehab professionals.
Research-Based Psychotherapy in Rehab
research-based psychotherapies are valuable tools we utilize in rehab to help our guests experience transformation. These are behavioral therapy methods that offer unique benefits depending on the person’s struggle. In your initial consultation, your therapist will outline treatment objectives. Then, through your ongoing work together, they’ll help you work through psychotherapy that’s well-suited to your goals. Some of the research-based psychotherapies we offer that aid people in overcoming addiction are:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT)
- Rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT)
- Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
- Motivational interviewing (MI)
Holistic Treatment in Rehab
In combination with traditional psychotherapies, we also offer a range of holistic therapies. These are alternative healing practices, many deriving from other cultures, that provide whole-body restoration. You will work on the deep mental work of recovery in traditional therapy, but holistic therapies will help you overall. Markedly, leaving any part of your mind, body, or spirit in a state of unwellness will block you from achieving complete wellness. Thus, we offer holistic treatments that encourage creativity, mindfulness, rest, relaxation, energy, and stress reduction. You’ll be invited to explore all of our alternative therapies to see which benefit you the most.

What Are the Levels of Care at a Las Vegas Rehab Center?
We break up rehab into progressing levels of care measuring an individual’s needs. During the earlier stages of treatment, our guests are more vulnerable to falling back into addiction. As such, they require extra support and monitoring. In later levels of care, they have done the inner work that provides them with self-motivation. Thus, guests gain more independence and freedom as they transition through the stages.
Inpatient Addiction Treatment in Las Vegas
Inpatient treatment is the first stage of recovery. It contains two different levels of care: medical detox and residential rehab. The inpatient level is the most intensive as far as hours and programming. It is also when individuals learn the basis of maintaining lifetime sobriety. Therefore, our inpatient rehab in Las Vegas is an important piece of the recovery puzzle.
Medical Detox
Medical detox is the first step after an initial consultation for people who currently have substances in their bodies. In order to achieve a base level of sobriety, detoxification has them remove the toxins of substances from their system. Since unfulfilled addiction leads to withdrawal symptoms, the only safe way to detox is in a medical facility where you can be monitored. Notably, we provide 24/7 care and aid during detoxification. Our doctors can administer fluids, nutrients, and comfort medications to help alleviate withdrawal pain.
Residential Rehab
After medical detox, guests move into residential rehab where they literally move into our center. Although they are now “sober” because they’ve weaned off of substances, the deeper urges to use substances remain. As such, residential rehab gives them time and space to better understand their addiction. In therapy, both group and individual, you’ll unpack unhealthy patterns around drugs, alcohol, mental health, and coping with pain. Additionally, you will begin to practice alternative coping strategies to make you more prepared to self-manage your sobriety. Residential inpatient rehabilitation is comfortable and private, allowing you to enjoy our safe facilities and amenities.
Outpatient Addiction Treatment in Las Vegas
After the inpatient level of care, our guests transition into outpatient rehab in Las Vegas. As discussed, this is a later level of care now that the initial work has been done. Guests are more ready to take independence in their recovery journey. They have three different program tracks to choose between, or they can spend time in each sub-level of outpatient treatment.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Partial hospitalization programming, or PHP, is an accelerated-pace outpatient rehab. This stage is commonly utilized by people who do not have the time or ability to enter residential inpatient rehab. Our guests have different reasons why they can’t commit to the full inpatient program which often have to do with obligations at home. That’s no problem, because they can complete the same work in PHP. Notably, the program is structured as daily in-center sessions without living in our facility. And PHP takes a faster pace than inpatient rehab. It is often completed in eight weeks.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
After PHP, guests can move into the intensive outpatient program (IOP). Or they can enter IOP as a stand-alone stage, such as after inpatient rehab. IOP represents a later level of care than PHP, where individuals are ready for more independence. In this way, IOP more closely aligns with traditional outpatient programming. Guests live at home but attend daily sessions in-center, with reduced hours from PHP, however. Generally, intensive outpatient is worked through in four weeks.
Outpatient Rehab
Traditional outpatient rehab is the third option you have when it comes to outpatient programming. This is a more relaxed pace program that allows you to spend time preparing to graduate and live on your own again. Although you don’t live in-center during OP, you do have daily support and care in your therapy and counseling sessions. Additionally, you will work with a case manager as part of OP rehab. This is a licensed professional with a background in psychology, nursing, or social work. They will help you find concrete solutions to your needs, like the need for housing, jobs, or schooling. Ultimately, the focus of outpatient rehab is preparing for the future as a graduate of treatment.
