Arthur enlisted in the United States Navy as a corpsman when he was 18. He spent time stationed at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and then later as a green-side corpsman working with Marines while forward deployed and stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Arthur received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in human development and family studies from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
